Durbe, from the Polaris AU series, in which Yuuma dies via axe in Episode 101 and is eventually reborn as a Barian with no memories of his past life.

As the leader, he is often torn between his self-imposed duty to care for this first ever Barian birth in many years (and the genuine affection that results from his efforts) and the fears that this newborn may really have been once Tsukomo Yuuma.

And if that is so, then what does this mean for their own existence, how the other Barians came to be?

Canon updated to some time during the "hiatus" that occurs due to Kotori's disappearance with the Numbers and Astral. As such, he's already relived the memories in Nasch's ruins, and is beginning to seek more information about Nasch...unfortunately, however, with Iildus' presence meaning that he's still rather reluctant to go about looking in his own human memories in his own ruins (because if he himself was once human, that means Iildus was once...), so instead he's going searching for more information about Nasch's ruins instead. Due to an inability to find anything in the actual ruins, however (nice cockblocking, Abyss), Durbe's looking for information on the nearest bit of human land...

...That is, Australia.

And Iildus ends up being brought along too. Because there can't be much harm in having him in a human library so far out from the actual battlefield, right.
